Product specification

Cocoa butter is the natural, edible fat extracted from cacao beans, which grow primarily in West Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia. After harvesting and fermenting, the fat is obtained through mechanical pressing of roasted beans. This process separates the fat from the solids, resulting in cocoa butter, a widely used ingredient in both the food and cosmetic industries.

In the food sector, cocoa butter is best known as a key component in chocolate production. It provides the smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture and glossy finish that defines high-quality chocolate. Cocoa butter is also used in bakery products, desserts, and plant-based confectionery.

In cosmetics, cocoa butter is a popular base ingredient in lotions, creams, and lip balms. It deeply moisturizes the skin, improves elasticity, and helps protect against environmental stressors. Thanks to its natural content of antioxidants, including vitamin E.

The final refining step – deodorization – takes place in the Netherlands, ensuring high-quality control and a neutral aroma suitable for a wide range of applications.
