Product specification

The almond tree is a tree that finds its native in California and the Southern part of Europe. Around three years after planting the three, the almonds give yields. It can be harvested every 7 to 8 months. The Almond Oil is usually being extracted by mechanical pressing of the nut where around 40% of the nut is converted into oil. The other part is being used to produce almond protein powder, a very popular product.

The oil can be consumed after pressing as a food product, where it finds its usage in salad dressings, cooking pan frying and deep frying, due to its high content of oleic acids.

The oil can also be refined afterwards, where it can find its final application in cosmetic usage too. In the cosmetic industry, almond oil is a very popular product to use in cosmetic product formulations, but also as a massage oil. It penetrates the skin very nicely and moistures very well. It relieves irritation for dry skin and has several healthy skin benefits. The price of the material fluctuates due to the changing demand of the powder and oil of the material. Usually, the almond is being pressed for protein powder purposes and the almond oil is being seen as a byproduct of the production of this material.
