Product specification

Sacha Inchi oil comes from the Inca nut, also known as the mountain peanut, which grows in the Amazon region. This plant produces uniquely shaped fruits that people harvest by hand. It grows up to 2 meters tall and starts producing seeds after about 8 months. After drying, the nuts go to the factory, where they are cold-pressed into virgin Sacha Inchi oil.

This high-quality Sacha Inchi oil contains a rich mix of omegas 3, 6, and 9, with an ideal balance between omega 3 and omega 6. You can request our specification sheet for more details about the acid profile. Sacha Inchi oil is suitable for both food and cosmetic use. Its nutty taste makes Sacha Inchi oil perfect for cold dishes, such as salads and dressings. With a high smoke point of 255°C, Sacha Inchi oil also works well for baking and stir-frying.

In cosmetics, Sacha Inchi oil is a valuable ingredient in creams, lotions, soaps, and treatments for dry or damaged hair. Many skincare experts recognize Sacha Inchi oil for its nourishing and moisturizing properties.
