Organic Lecithin
We present our organic rapeseed lecithin which is used in the food- cosmetic industry. SOS gets its lecithin thanks to the partnership with Adams Group. Lecithin is an emulsifier that suspends fats and oils and keeps them from mixing with other substances. The rapeseed lecithin has low solubility in water and is used in, for example, food, feed, and pharmaceutical applications for a variety of reasons: As an emulsifier, stabilizer, moisturizing agent Rapeseed lecithin has a significant content in alpha-linolenic acid and therefore provides high amounts of omega-3 fat. Sigma Oil Seeds supplies its rapeseed lecithin in organic quality.
