Product specification

Sacha Inchi oil is produced from the Inca nut, also known as the mountain peanut which grows in the Amazon region. The fruits of the plant have a unique and beautiful shape and are harvested by hand. The plant reaches a height of 2 meters and usually gives the first seeds after 8 months. After the dry process the nuts go to the factory and are pressed purely to a virgin oil.

The oil consist of a rich combination of omegas 3+6+9 with a ideal balance between omega 3 and omega 6. Requested our specification sheet for more information about the acid profile. The virgin oil can be used for food or cosmetic application.  Due to its nutty taste it is great for cold dishes such as salads and dressings. Due to is high smoke point of 255 Celsius it can also be used for baking and stir-frying. In cosmetics Sacha Inchi oil can be used in creams, lotions, soaps, and in formulations for dried and damaged hair.
